The Bride Who Got Lucky by Janna MacGregor
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a very emotional book, with a strong and relatable female character. I loved everyrhing about Emma, and Nick's character was the perfect balance.
I didn't like how some of the scenes were overly dramatic, nor did I like how much time was invested in the love scenes, but a decent 4 star read just for Emma.

Review: Highland Chieftain
Highland Chieftain by Hannah Howell
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I picked this book up almost a ear ago with the intention of reading it, but life got in the way and I put it down. Fast forward to November when I pick the book back up and really dive in.... At first I was interested. There was so much potential with the characters, but the storyline was so weak, even though the plot was completely original, that I had a hars time getting to involved. The timeline jumped ao much that I was having a hard time keeping track of events and people. This book had all the ingredients to make a fantastic story, but sadly it was just too under cooked for my tastes.
