Maybe I've grown up since reading the first book. Maybe this book just wasn't that great, though I choose not to believe it, but I expected there to be more than Jessi and Lash lusting after each other. Seriously, that was the entire book, with the exception of the Prologue, final chapter, and the Epilogue.
The writing was spot on, as always, and Ms. Shayne, I am giving this book a full star more than it really deserves because of this. A normally phenominal writer, I fear you missed your mark with this one.
