Review: Susana and the Scot

Susana and the Scot Susana and the Scot by Sabrina York
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Was it as good as Hannah And The Highlander? No. Was it a good book in it's own right? Yes. I feel like most of the book revolved around Susana and Andrew's sexual attraction. If you take all of the sexual components out of this book, you aren't really reading anything, not to mention that I had to keep reminding myself that Andrew was indeed Scottish. The author doesn't really write him as a Scottish Highlander except for a few scenes. Otherwise excellent writing, engaging story, and vivid descriptions... (when the Andrew's penis is described as having a "mushroom" head *wink wink*)

Based off of the first book, I had such high expectations for this one and sadly, I was disappointed. However, when Lana's story comes out I will be reading it. In parting I will say this: Ms. York, You aimed high and regrettably fell short.
